I went to see the Flaming Lips play on Saturday (for the 3rd time since I've been in San Diego) at the free (!) Southern Comfort Music Experience downtown. It's always incredible to see the Lips play, but I'm getting too old for day-long shows and festivals. After being on my feet for 5+ hours and crammed in with thousands of people, I was numb from the knees down and just wanted to go home and soak in the tub.
